Dr. Marble received a BS degree in electrical engineering in 1992 from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and an MS in electrical engineering in 1995 from Johns Hopkins University. From 1996 to 2003 he was a research scientist at the Environmental Research Institute of Michigan (ERIM) where he implemented Machine Learning algorithms for synthetic aperture radar. In 2007 he completed a PhD in electrical engineering at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. From 2006 to 2011 he supported the US Army as a subject matter expert in ground penetrating radar. From 2011 to 2021 he supported the US Navy at NSWC Crane Spectrum Warfare Center. During this time he was instrumental in establishing a Live-Virtual-Constructive (LVC) battle lab. He is currently detailed to the Office of Naval Research Global as a Science Director supporting global innovative research. As a Science Director he specializes in technologies in the area of Information, Cyber, and Spectrum. He resides in London, England.
